Sunday we took Bean to his very first pro-football game!!! The Buffalo Bills were in town and I was super excited that we got free tickets to the game! Well...the mix of a tired 2 year old, a very pregnant mommy and a heat index of over 100at the stadium was not a good combination! Bean at least got to watch the jets fly over! He made it a few plays into the first quarter and just kept saying, "I want to go home." So he went with Daddy back to the concession area and fell asleep! Our friend Stephen came with us and him and I watched the first quarter, but by about mid-way thru the 2nd quarter we were both very HOT! So, we decided to just give up and go home. Walking back to the car I got super dizzy and we had to take about a 30 minute break to get me feeling better. Thank goodness for some nice policemen who supplied me with a water bottle and some fans. And a HUGE thanks to a very nice stadium employee who drove us all back to the car in her golf cart! She was very sweet! SO, the first pro football game was a bit of a bust, but it sure was an adventure! We did have a great late lunch at Wild Wings on our way home and enjoyed the rest of the game in a nice air-conditioned restuarant! No more outdoor events for me this pregnancy...that's for sure!!!
Look at this sweet sleeping little boy...notice his hair matted to his forehead with sweat. Poor daddy held him for almost 2 hours!!! (Such a good Daddy) :)
Where daddy spent the first half of the game...he's going to leave us at home next time!! :)
Check out this "HOT" momma...literally.
Have a good week! and stay cool!! ...and go Bills! They beat the Jags 20-16 in an exciting game! :)

PHEW!! It is HOT out...glad you were alright! Bean looks so adorable in the pics...I love the look of sleeping 2-year-old. A lot different than the wild boys that we normally have, right?? :)
One brave, strong, and hot Mama! Remember... cool comfortable couch + big awesome TV = one happy family! Can't wait to play with Bean pat Boo and see you guys.
Love, Cousin K
