A fun family visit and a trip to the Zoo!

What a fun and busy weekend!!! :) We had a great visit from Bean's NY grandparents. We had hot sunny weather and some really good home cooked meals. Our big outing was to the Zoo and Bean had a blast!!! He loved seeing all the animals and best of all he got to feed a giraffe!!! He was so excited about it. He also got to play in the water playground for the first time and he loved it. (I almost wished I had MY swim suit, so I could have enjoyed the cool water as well...it was a hot day!) We ended the trip with a ride on the Merry-go-Round...and of course, Bean rode on the alligator. Then we had to see the alligator's before we left... Mommy dropped her camera at the end of the day (and was very sad that it was not working!!!), but Daddy saved the day and fixed it when he got home from work! Yeah Daddy!!! AND, a big thank you for a fun trip to the Zoo with Bean's NY grands! AND thank you for a fun visit!

Bean also got his first set of golf clubs this weekend! He had a great time in the backyard with Papa C with his new clubs...watch out Tiger! (and Thank you Papa!!)

Other family news...The results of Bean's ultrasound came in and he has good growth in both of his kidneys. The only new thing was that his kidneys are indeed connected. They thought this last year, but it was confirmed this year. Bean's wonderful doctor called the pediatric urologist that has been following since Bean was born, and he is going to look at the ultrasound too. He didnt think there was any significance to it and I was told "NOT TO WORRY" by Dr H!!! So, we hope we wont have to get another one for a few years, but we will wait and see what our good friends in the Urology office have to say.

Mommy is doing well and has definitely "popped"! As they say in Hollywood, there is a baby bump! We are counting down the days to June 9th...it will be a family trip to the doctor that day. I continue to feel well but have already started feeling the heat of summer...yikes! I might just live in the pool this summer! :)
