A trip "home" :)

Last weekend, the kids and I took a quick trip to my parents house. It was wonderful. With Grandma Vicki's passing, I had that NEED to go home...and well, for me, home is with my Mom. :) I think we all greatly enjoyed the visit. Papa G did more with the boys in one day then you could imagine!!! Here are some of the highlights...I didn't get pictures of the cookie baking, baseball playing, toy fixing, etc.... :) I have a few on my phone I need to upload, especially the one of Bean passed out before dinner!!! (I think Papa was tired too...) :)


Papa's new car. Bean is in LOVE with this car. Oh my. And yes...as you can see below he even got a short ride down the street in it. (Pediatrician friends look away!)


Bean declared, "Papa, your car is cooler then Batmans!!!"

...until it backfires! SO fun. :)


Saturday night we braved the cold and took the boys to a tractor/truck pull. We all learned lots, but couldn't stay the whole time because it was COLD!!! Little Boo was scared of the tractors when they pulled across the dirt, but as soon as they stopped he would exclaim, "Yay Tractor!!!" Next time, we'll go when it's a little warmer.
