On Wednesday D turned 40! He didn't want a party, so I tried to make sure he felt celebrated...over a few days! :) We had a family dinner at Outback Wednesday night and came home to cupcakes and presents. Yum! We even had "40" candles!

Thursday, D and I had a day long date and went to Epcot...just the two of us! wow! We had such a great time and got to do some things WE wanted to do. :) It was HOT, but mostly everything was inside, so it was tolerable.
We enjoyed lunch in Mexico...a quiet, peaceful lunch...ahhhhhhh....so nice. :)
The birthday boy! We walked around all the countries and enjoyed the rides in Mexico and Norway. We planned on enjoying an adult beverage as well...but in the heat decided against it. BUT---I got ice cream! :)

The celebration continues tonight. We have a babysitter and are going out for dinner. We plan on trying a nice restaurant out on the beach. Should be fun!

I hope you saved some of those cup cakes in the freezer. They look so yummy!!
PS - you guys need to slow down the aging a bit. You're starting to make me feel old!
